After a long absence, I'm back with Jam

Thanks to Kim, Eunice and Noah, it's jam time!

Kim brought home some nice strawberries from Kitchener for me yesterday...

And tonight, after a good four hours of chopping and mashing, there are now 21 happy little jars of strawberry freezer jam in the freezer!  These will be nice to enjoy over the next year.  Kim says my price for the strawberries is a couple of jars of freezer jam, sounds like a real deal to me.

Look, all gone.  And nice little green storage bins too, I think I can find some quilty things to do with these.

I have lots of other pictures from the past few months, I'll try to post this weekend.

  2. Sherri you made good use of the berries. Can't wait to come and have a tea biscuit with strawbeery jam. Nothing like inviting myself. Glad to see you are blogging again - I keep looking for you and Kim to start up again and you came in 1st.
Have a great week, Love "T"

  3. Glad you had enough to make the jam, since Noah kept skimming strawberries from the top of your boxes on the way home. Yummy strawberries, can't wait to try the jam!
